Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Ratha Yatra Inauguration 2009 Bangalore

    Jan 11, BANGALORE, INDIA (SUN) — January 10, 2009 was a very special day for Bangalore. Thousands of devotees participated in a blessed event of Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Ratha Yatra. It was 7 kilometers (or 3-4 hours) of pure ecstatic dancing and chanting in front of the two transcendental Lords. People of Bangalore received Maha Prasadam from the Ratha with great delight, and of course, joined the chanting and dancing. Half way through I twisted my ankle of my left foot - bad - but kept dancing and chanting (most of it with my right foot ;)

    Personally, as a guest and/or visitor to ISKCON Bangalore for the past 2 months, I have been very much pleased to see all the dignitaries present at the inauguration of Ratha festival. There were also senior and dedicated devotees/disciples of HDG Srila Prabhupada such as HG Ananta Padmanaba prabhu, HH Amiya Vilas Swami and HG Shanka Brita prabhu. They gave their respective speeches. They very much appreciated the service that devotees of ISKCON Bangalore are doing to the world, led by leaders such as HG Madhu Pandit and Chanchalapati prabhus, respectively.

    Before the Ratha festival, I had the opportunity to associate with HG Ananta Padmanabha prabhu and HH Amiya Vilasa Maharaja. I thank them a lot for standing up for Srila Prabhupada and upholding the truth about ISKCON Bangalore. I very much admire their simplicity, honesty and dedication to Srila Prabhupada's mission.

    HG AP prabhu said: "After realizing the truth I have concluded to withdraw from the court case against ISKCON Bangalore and Madhu Pandit dasa… ISKCON Bangalore is a model for whole of the ISKCON around the world…the true Vaishnavas understand the truth and do not to fight against HG Madhu Pandit das, but to leave him alone to do wonders at his own capacity to serve Srila Prabhupada and other living entities - Back Home Back to Godhead!"

    HH Amiya Vilasa Maharaj said: "Recent incidents by the will of Krishna…I was somehow inspired within my heart and realization to withdraw the case…I decided to withdraw the case that I have no idea and understanding why I have to sign the paper…spending so much money…spending unnecessary for Lawsuit that really Srila Prabhupada never wanted…I humbly in Vaishnava community want to clarify my position…"

    HG Shanka Brita prabhu said at the inauguration, "NO METTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS," the ISKCON Bangalore preaching is very much blessed and guided by Srila Prabhupada.
