This was the first step towards eventually conducting an election for the GBC from among this TP body: Election of the TP body in ISKCON Bangalore Total of 21 devotees with 7 years of devotional experience in the movement were elected to be its TP body. These devotees are either current Temple Presidents or will soon be of one of the projects in India. The election was conducted by election commissioners as well as monitored by an independent oversight body.
